I’m on my second pair of Blundstone boots, though my first pair (at least 12 years old) are still in fine form. They’ve kept me comfortable on treks through rural Cambodia in the rainy season and mid-summer in the Mexican jungle; suited me well with office attire whether at work teaching in Japan or at home in Toronto; and carried me through my first harsh winter in Montreal, warm and cozy. Blundstone boots became the perfect accessory for life in London, Ontario during the winter of 2010/2011 when snow reached state of emergency levels on more than one occasion. Mallorie already had a reputation for copying my shoes. When she saw how useful my Blundstone boots were in this extreme weather, she couldn’t resist getting her own pair! During summer months, when we’re not in school, we part ways to city and country, respectively. About four years ago I picked up my “special” Blundstone boots at the store on Yonge Street (and on sale also). I had just become a fan of long distance touring on my brand new cruiser (another pic attached) and my “Canadian Blundstone boots became my boot of choice. 60,000 kms later, these boots on my feet all the way, they are still going strong. I have owned this pair of Blundstone boots for over 6 years now and I wear them almost every day. I also a pair of Blundstone CSA safety boots that i occasionally wear as required. These are by far the most comfortable and durable footwear i have ever owned. I am lucky enough to have a large group of extremely close friends. I introduced Blundstone boots into this group about  five years ago. Since then, their popularity has spread like wildfire! Now over 15 of us wear them, love them and weed through what feels like fields of Blundstone boots at the end of hanging out for the night. Perhaps our boots are all buddies too. I got my first pair of Blunstone boots in 2010 (style 561).  I wear them to do literally anything from working retail to trudging through our atlantic coast winters which can consist of pretty much anything. These boots can handle it all with ease. The photograph was taken on a fishing trip to a lake in Nova Scotia. It was an hour and a half walk to the lake from where I parked and my feet felt great. I timberframe full time, and play with horses on my time off. I knew that all boots were uncomfortable when worn for long stretches and it didn’t matter what boots you wore as long as they kept you feet off the rocks. Last year, as a 41 year old woman, I bought a motorcycle which sort of scared me but was exciting. Before I took my lessons I would ride it around the neighbourhood to get used to it. I have a pair of #491 Blundstone Boots. I teach grade five and I wear them everyday. My grade five students give my boots and I a rewarding workout throughout the school year. Last June my family went to Britain for four weeks (from Canada). The primary reason for the trip was to baptize our new born daughter in the church we were married in, St-Mary’s in Painswick. With baggage restrictions, I decided to only bring my 7 year old Blundstone 500s. After a polish, they were good enough for church. Here they are. A new winter has started here in Toronto, earlier than expected. I went out and bought a pair of these bad boys. Today, I reluctantly retired my pair of black steel-toed Blundstone Boots and purchased new ones. Having recently relocated from Vancouver to Toronto to start a new business, just in time for winter, I realized that the gaping hole over the steel toe, may not fare so well in the snow of Central Canada. I have worn them every where since, walking, hiking, dirt biking, and even to work… Recently I was hiking in Kananaskis country wearing my Blundstone Boots (this was my first hike to date where I did not have blisters or sore feet). What are they doing? Well they’re running a printing press. I gave up years ago, but these boots were made for printing and they just keep going! 10 hour shifts and on my feet all night. These are two generations (myself, my 18 year old son, 8 year old daughter and my boyfriend) of Blundstone Boots that travelled through BC and Alberta on our summer camping/road trip this year.  We hiked trails, sloshed through marshes, chopped wood, peed in the bush and enjoyed the amazing Canadian landscape for 3 weeks.  These boots shined up to be good as new and taken out on the town the minute we hit a city.  Thanks Blundstone Canada. I’ve worn them for years for work and for play, I even donned them on my magical day. I wear them to work, they make my uniform, I wear them for casual, that’s always my norm. As a pilot in Blunnies, I fly the skies blue, A loyal Blundstone wearer, I am through and through. But notably, one of my most magical days, Was a Blundstone boots  moment when Dad gave me away. This is a picture of our family, boots included. We have been wearing Blundstone boots for over a decade and our two girls (now ages 5 and 7) have been wearing Blunnies since they could walk. In addition to the favourite black boots, we have brown, red, purple, and CSA Greenpatch boots. We wear them for all occasions during all seasons, everywhere we go. They are truly part of our family. These boots last forever, and we are working to convert all of our extended family members by passing along the Blunnies as they are outgrown – so far so good! Thanks for making such great boots!
