I fully understand the idea of travelling around the world in a pair of Blundstone boots. What about the average day in the life of a Canadian Mom? I recently wore my Blundstones, like I regularly do, to our Amniocentesis. That’s right, to an Amniocentesis. On February 14th 2013 we were booked for an amniocentesis to see if our 4th child had a rare genetic disorder called Trisomy 18. We had sadly lost our daughter McKia to this rare disorder when I was 6 months pregnant in 2007. When we entered the Ultrasound room the Sonographer told me to leave my boots on. No problem with that…and in a heart beat my husband snapped a pic of me in a hospital gown and my Blundstone boots….that’s right you can wear them anywhere. Even to an amniocentesis. Good news…we found out on Feb 19th 2013 that our unborn child did not have Trisomy 18, 13 or 21…and that he was ALL boy. Now that makes for a Perfect Valentines day in a great pair of Blundstones. Thank you Samantha Hallgren

I had my husband shoe shopping for some walking shoes for our upcoming holidays to Disney World. As he was pulling on his first pair of Blundstone boots, he gave me the “you want me to try THESE on???” look. He walked out of the store wearing his first pair. Less than a month later, I saw him in new work boots. Asked when he’d bought them – that day. He’d found a pair of Blundstone work boots. He was having heel pain wearing his old work boots. Amazingly, pain was gone as soon as the new boots were on his feet. Needless to say, he’s a convert. And yes, the first pair went to Disney World. Patricia
Attached is what I see on a typical day, a computer screen, paperwork and a view of a cold February day. Caribbean? Forget it. I need adventure, and Australia is the place to be. My Blundstone boots will thank you from the bottom of their soles to the finger loops. Hardcell.
At 8:05 a.m. on 24 January 2013, this was likely the highest Blundstone on the planet. I carried both to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro with the intention of wearing them, but (despite the smile) severe nausea, due to the altitude, put an end to that plan. This was the most creativity I could muster, and I hope you like it. The photo was taken by Justin Thomas, my guide with the African Best Regards, Ernie DeRushie
Great warm insoles love them for my snowblowing run. Thanks Ed Helder Mount Forest, Ontario
Me and Lottie go everywhere together – and when its time to hit the trails, I don’t have time for laces. My #560 Blundstone boots have been my best pair yet – the tread is light but keeps me grounded – no spills down hills for this girl. Thinsulate keeps me dry on our slogs through the bogs and don’t even get me started on the sheepskin liner. Two words: Warm and cozy! Thanks, Blundstone, for a perfect pair. Aly&Lottie, Dundas Ont.
I just wanted to tell you how much I’ve been liking my Blundstone boots. In 2009 I was strolling past Ocean River Sports in Victoria, BC when I spied a pair of Blundstones in their window. Interestingly enough I found myself inside trying on a pair out-of-the-box. They were far and away the best fitting, most comfortable boots I’ve ever put on. I wore them home, then every day for the next two weeks. I was so impressed with my new boots that I returned to the store and bought I second pair thinking, “Well, I might not find Blundstone boots again, so now I’ll have this second pair ready when the first pair wears out in a year or two…. I have been wearing that first pair of Blundstones day in-day-out (and I mean every single day!) since then! It’s now 2013, so that’s four years of daily wear, and they’re actually better than they were on day one! I have worn these boots trekking through tropical jungles, on two week long motorcycle tours, climbing to the top of Mayan pyramids, and hiking in the Canadian Rockies, and along cobbled beaches on the BC coast. I even polished them up one day and wore them to my friend’s wedding! Blundstone boots truly are the best ‘do-it-all’ footwear I’ve ever had; I can’t imagine anything better, nor can I remember what I wore for everyday shoes in the years “B.B.” (Before Blundstone). Check out the soles in these pics. I am extemely impressed! As for the uppers—twice I have wiped them down and applied a bit of leather dressing (not recently) and that’s the only ‘special care’ they got. The second pair of Blundstones are still in their box, waiting patiently for this first pair to wear out, but by the looks of things, they’re going to have a long wait! Thank you, Blundstone, for making such GREAT shoes!! Tom Hocking
I love my Blundstone boots. They have been with me in France. Here I am in Chartres, enjoying my trip with them. Voila! Doug Harvey
We are hill-walking in the Yorkshire Dales and on our way to the Kettlewell Scarecrow Festival, after having been to the Oympics in London. Hiked for days in wet and dry, all in our Blundstone boots. Good times! Cheers from London, (Canada)! Doug
Meet Tom our new Kangaroo who came all the way from Australia with Santa this year to deliver my new pair of Blundstone boots. It’s going to be a Happy New Year now!! The Stickings Family Halifax Canada
Dear Blundstone Canada, As you know, garden gnomes can be seriously hard on things, especially footwear. Its a lucky thing we purchased the finest boots available for them six years ago. Hans and Franz both feel that these boots were just getting broken in and certainly probably would have provided many more years of service – they garden 22 hours a day. We do like our garden gnomes to look good and be properly dressed, we’ve had a good year, so we bought them a nice new pair – kinda of a Christmas bonus, they both work so hard. They were both so grateful, and wanted to extent their good wishes to the craftsmen and craftswomen at Blundstone Footwear. They also wanted to know if there was any job opportunities available and if you actually employ garden gnomes. We would miss them, but we must do what’s best. They live for hundreds of years and the cold wet weather takes its toll. The’ve even suggested a new product line of gnome footwear - Blundgnome Booties, hoping that might help to sinch the deal. All the best, David and Jeannette Wright PS . If we win the trip to Australia , we could bring Hans and Franz in our baggage
First time owner. Great boots, I got the Blundstone #164 style since I work in a facility that require steel toes. No negative towards the make or model, this is the finest boot I’ve worn or bought. Never will I think of buying any other boot to suit my comfort level and requirements. Bravo to your craft. Thank you Blundstone, I’m recommending this to everyone I know. Fred, 21 years old, Maintenance Worker. Surrey, BC, CANADA
I can’t believe I have never tried on a pair of Blundstone boots on before. I just bought this pair on Dec 16, 2012. They are like the Porche of boots. Very comfortable and they have a very nice style to them. I promise to wear them on my trip to Australia. Hello from Toronto Canada Ron
I am an ironworker in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My Blundstone CSA Greenpatch steel toe work boots suit our trade well due to the low heel and extreme comfort. I took this picture from the 67th floor of a new building downtown. Tyler Hough
This is our current family of blundstones – minus the pair that my son is wearing at school right now. #yourboots Wesley Stickland
Had to buy myself a great gift for Xmas here in Canada. Long live the boot!! J.R. Hogan

Between taking my daughter to daycare, walking the dog, shoveling the driveway, running errands and work. I must take my boots on and off 10 times a day. The Winter Blundstone #560 is no brainer to me ! Vincent Fortin
It’s quite a coincidence that, when I went in to get my latest pair of Blundstone boots, there was a chit of paper in the box suggesting that I send in a photo of my (old) shoes. Hey, I had been planning on doing exactly that (not with the aim of winning a trip to Australia – though I definitely think that’s a great idea, sign me up!) for the simple purpose of telling you my Blundstone story. I’m 48, have been wearing shoes nearly all my life, and I’ve never – never – found a pair of shoes with anything like this level of comfort. It’s incredible. In fact, it’s become a bit of an issue, I won’t wear anything else – ever! My sister bought me my first pair in Vancouver, for Christmas 2009, and (I’m not joking here) apart from about fifteen days in total (out of over 1,000 to date) when I had to wear a penguin suit or some other ridiculous get-up, they’ve been on my feet every single day since. These shoes have a great story behind (beneath?) them. I’m a motorsport photographer, and these brilliant boots have been all over the place, to dozens of circuits (mostly throughout Asia, where it’s brutal) and lots of World Rally Championship events. This isn’t some testimonial dreamt up by an ad agency, my experience with these Blundstone boots is real, and pretty special. I can go into absurd amounts of detail if you’d like… Thanks a million, all! Len P.S. My new pair are still a wee bit tight, but it just reminds me of the long journey ahead, and I’m up for it!
