Good thing that my Blundstone Boots have great grippy treads…
I picked up my pair of Blundstone Boots from Oh My Sole in Halifax in 2003. Since then, I’ve worn them everywhere I go. I’ve worn them while I crossed the Charles Bridge in Prague, while drinking a few pints in the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, and while climbing the Eiffel Tower where I met a friendly Aussie couple who were also wearing Blundstone Boots.
My last overseas trip was in June, 2009. In the attached picture, I’m wearing my Blundstone Boots, while standing with my sweetheart Margaret, at the Gullfoss Waterfalls in Iceland. Note the lack of warning signage and safety barriers! It’s a good thing that my Blundstone Boots have great grippy treads; it made my walk along the wet rocks around the falls a lot more secure! You’ll also notice in this pic that Margaret was wearing her Doc Martins; she finally gave them up for a pair of Blundstone 550’s this weekend!
