Generations of Blundstone Boots…

These are two generations (myself, my 18 year old son, 8 year old daughter and my boyfriend) of Blundstone Boots that travelled through BC and Alberta on our summer camping/road trip this year. We hiked trails, sloshed through marshes, chopped wood, peed in the bush and enjoyed the amazing Canadian landscape for 3 weeks. These boots shined up to be good as new and taken out on the town the minute we hit a city. Thanks Blundstone Canada.

The day was perfect-a little overcast, but no rain. And I had a treat for my feet, and something other than an ugly shed to look at: My new BLUNDSTONE SUEDE boots! I had admired them from afar; our bread man sported a beat-up pair of leather Blundstoneboots with his shorts. After some serious coveting most of that summer, I had to ask what those worn but fabulous boots were called. I wrote the name down. I went to the web site. But I’m a suede kind of girl. So here my feet are in all their glory, now that they are covered in gorgeous suede. To hell with the shed!

Magic Blundstone Moments!

I’ve worn them for years for work and for play,
I even donned them on my magical day.
I wear them to work, they make my uniform,
I wear them for casual, that’s always my norm.
As a pilot in Blunnies, I fly the skies blue,
A loyal Blundstone wearer, I am through and through.
But notably, one of my most magical days,
Was a Blundstone boots moment when Dad gave me away.
So we posed for a picture, then I kissed my groom,
Let me guarantee, he’ll be wearing Blundstone boots soon!

This is a picture of our family, boots included. We have been wearing Blundstone boots for over a decade and our two girls (now ages 5 and 7) have been wearing Blunnies since they could walk. In addition to the favourite black boots, we have brown, red, purple, and CSA Greenpatch boots. We wear them for all occasions during all seasons, everywhere we go. They are truly part of our family. These boots last forever, and we are working to convert all of our extended family members by passing along the Blunnies as they are outgrown - so far so good!

I’ve been wearing Blundstone boots for years and have been in Afghanistan (Kabul and Kandahar) for almost two years and there has not been a day gone by while I’ve been here that I haven’t had my Blundstone boots on. I get asked about them all the time from people all over the world and if they can fit in to mine for an impromptu fitting, the person is immediately sold and asks me where they can get a pair. I tell them about my shop I deal with on Yonge Street in Toronto who have used me well over the years. Cheers from the Stan,
