The Perfect Valentines day in a great pair of Blundstone boots.

I fully understand the idea of travelling around the world in a pair of Blundstone boots.  What about the average day in the life of a Canadian Mom? I recently wore my Blundstones, like I regularly do, to our Amniocentesis. That's right, to an Amniocentesis. On February 14th 2013 we were booked for an amniocentesis to see if our 4th child had a rare genetic disorder called Trisomy 18.  We had sadly lost our daughter McKia to this rare disorder when I was 6 months pregnant in 2007. When we entered the Ultrasound room the Sonographer told me to leave my boots on. No problem with that...and in a heart beat my husband snapped a pic of me in a hospital gown and my Blundstone boots....that's right you can wear them anywhere. Even to an amniocentesis. Good news...we found out on Feb 19th 2013 that our unborn child did not have Trisomy 18, 13 or 21...and that he was ALL boy. Now that makes for a Perfect Valentines day in a great pair of Blundstones. Thank you Samantha Hallgren
