PRIZE DRAW – Blundstone Canada Consumer Survey (Survey)


Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions.
The promoter is Tin Shack Ltd., for Blundstone Canada 31 Stewart Rd, Collingwood Ontario, Canada. (Promoter).

The market research partner responsible for the hosting of the Survey and competition entry is Quantum Market Research (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 55 090 917 285) trading as Quantum Market Research, Level 3, 650 Chapel Street, South Yarra, Vic, 3141.

Entries must comply with these Terms and Conditions to be valid. By entering this competition, entrants will be deemed to agree with these Terms and Conditions for entry.

This competition is a game of chance. There is no purchase necessary.

The competition commences on October 27, 2021, at 12pm EST and ends on November 14, 2021, at 12pm EST (the Competition Period) Prize draw date is November 30th 10 am AEST.


    Entry into the competition is only open to Residents of Canada who are aged 18 and over (Eligible Entrants).

    To be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must:

    • receive an invitation from the Promoter to complete the Survey;
    • accurately complete all questions in the Survey;
    • provide valid contact details including their full name, email address, and telephone number; and
    • complete the Survey by the end of the Competition Period.

    Eligible Entrants must not be an employee or Quantum Market Research, Blundstone Australia, Blundstone Canada or their related entities and must not have any immediate family members who are employees of Blundstone Canada or the Promoter or their related entities.

    Eligible Entrants can enter only once.

    All valid entries are automatically entered into the prize draw.

    There are two (2) individual prizes to be won. The grand prize consists of a family set of Blundstone Boots (up to 6 pairs of Blundstone boots) and a cheque in the amount of five-hundred dollars (CDN $500) (total estimated value of CDN$1,820.00 (excluding taxes and shipping) (Grand Prize); the  runner-up prize consists of two (2) pairs of Blundstone Boots (estimated value of CDN $440.00 excluding taxes and shipping) (Runner-Up Prize).


      The prize draw will take place on [date] at [time] AEDT at Quantum Market Research, Level 3, 650 Chapel Street, South Yarra, Vic, 3141 (Australia).  The winner/s will be drawn as well as runners up (for where prizes are unclaimed).
      The market research partner (Quantum Market Research) will share winner details with Tin Shack Ltd.

      The market research partner (Quantum Market Research) will destroy all records of personally identifying information upon the completion of the research program (by the 31st of December, 2021).

      Participant details will not be linked to any survey responses and will be used for the purpose of administering the prize(s).

      Winners will be contacted by email within five business days of the draw.
      Prizes will be shipped out once the name, address, shoe size(s), selections, and available stock is confirmed with the winners. Prizes may be delayed due to shipping or stock availability.

      Should the prize remain unclaimed after one month of the draw date and Tin Shack Ltd. has used reasonable efforts to contact the winner with the contact information provided by the entrant, then the prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to the runner/s up drawn.

      The market research partner (Quantum Market Research) accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury incurred in connection with the prizes.

      The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, claim, or injury in connection with this competition, conduct or content of the Survey, unclaimed prizes, or ineligible or disqualified entries.

      The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other incentives.


        This is a game of chance. No purchase necessary. There is no element of skill involved in this competition and responses throughout the survey will not be used in the process of selecting a winner. The winner will be selected randomly by the Promoter.

        The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory content or if the judges reasonably suspect any unlawful or improper conduct, such as infringing a third party’s intellectual property rights, or if there has been a breach of the Terms and Conditions. The judges' decision will be final without any further obligation to correspond. Subject to State Regulation.

        Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia.

        The market research partner (Quantum Market Research) and the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alterations of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including, but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or results of the competition, and may take any action that may be available, and may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition without any recourse or obligation.

        If this Competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the Competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants.

        All details of the entrants will be used and preserved in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles as well as comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and any other privacy laws which may be relevant. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Privacy Officer by phoning (03) 9289 9500. Unless otherwise notified, Quantum Market Research may use the entries and details of entrants for promotional and publicity purposes.
